1. LOTS:

   1. He is black.
   2. He had a dream.
   3. He was unable to realize his dream.

   HOTS:

   1. He experienced discrimination (based on race).
   2. He feels isolated.
   3. He feels unable to overcome the racism / get past the race issue / to cause others to see past his race.

2. LOTS:

   1. The speaker decides to try to reach his dream. He will break the wall.

   HOTS:

   1. The speaker decides to overcome the obstacles that stand before him. He will find strength in himself.
